Decoding the vehicle electronics in motorbikes
Admittedly, it was a premiere, as we deal primarily with trucks and construction machinery. The customer provided us with two motorbikes (KTM790 Duke and BMW F800GS). The task here was to understand the electronics and identify suitable tapping possibilities. We quickly used our diagnostic systems to decipher the components. Finally, we were able to identify some parameters. These were, for example, brake pressure, inclination, rear and front wheel speed, brake signal, indicators, lights, speed, accelerator pedal position, clutch, side stand, kill switch, engine temperature, gear and intake air temperature.
