bauma 2022 in Munich is just around the corner and, as the world's leading trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles and construction equipment, will once again provide a platform for innovations and technological advances. Modern Drive Technology GmbH will be presenting its latest solutions for the digitalization and networking of mobile machinery as a co-exhibitor at STW 's stand A2.225.
MACHINES.CLOUD - A modular telematics platform
The trade fair presentation will focus on MACHINES.CLOUD, an open and flexible telematics platform that has been specially developed to meet the requirements of modern machine operators. The platform is characterized by its modular architecture, which enables individual adaptation to specific requirements - without programming knowledge.
- Simple setup: The platform can be configured intuitively using visual elements.
- Automation: Predefined workflows make it easier to set up alarms, notifications and reports.
- Flexible user management: Devices, users and roles can be managed individually with specific authorizations.
- Seamless integration: Thanks to over 170 connectors for various third-party systems and an open REST API, the platform can be easily integrated into existing IT landscapes.
Live presentations at leading companies
The capabilities of MACHINES.CLOUD will not only be presented at bauma 2022 at the company's own stand, but will also be demonstrated live by several partner companies:
- Scheuerle Fahrzeugfabrik / TII Group (Stand FN.828)
- RUTHMANN Holdings (Stand FS.1006/4)
- PUNCH Flybrid (Stand A3.512E)
- Hermann Paus Maschinenfabrik (Stand FM.713/9)
Innovative hardware solutions for telematics applications

The Oyster3 uses narrowband IoT and CAT-M1 based on 4G and impresses with a battery life of over 10 years. Thanks to the modular design, the three AA batteries can be easily replaced if necessary.

The SolidII was developed for particularly demanding environments. This potted and rechargeable battery tracker enables precise recording of movement data and is ideal for tracking rental equipment. A live demonstration of the SolidII will take place at the KEMROC stand (FN1019/5).
