The largest trade fair in the world was a valuable experience.
Thanks to the support stand of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), we were able to talk to a large number of fleet managers and, in parallel, also exchange ideas with construction equipment manufacturers on site.
There were two central focal points for our visitors.
The availability of telemetry data across manufacturers was in demand among construction companies. The low-cost "tracking" of mass equipment based on LoRa and NarrowBand was also a topic.
Rental companies, on the other hand, were particularly interested in the cross-vendor availability of fault codes, which are of interest for remote diagnosis and predictive maintenance.
