We are pleased to present the latest functions of MACHINES.CLOUD to you today. The latest version 10.15 brings with it numerous new features that make working in the cloud even easier and more efficient. From improved security functions to new automation options, the new features offer a wide range of benefits for anyone working in the cloud. Let's get started right away and discover the exciting new features!
Individual cockpit configuration
Contextual help
With the right authorizations, you can configure your own cockpit applications as required. Clone the standard application and customize functions such as alarms or the data explorer. You can also define which groups or subgroups appear in the Navigator to create a customized view.
New asset selector
Advanced software management
Widgets now support an improved selector that allows you to navigate through all relevant groups and devices. A global search for devices and assets is also possible - ideal for reports or home dashboards. If a group contains many elements, the current level can be filtered specifically.
The "Device Management" software repository now shows the name of the software, the device type for which it is applicable, the software type and an icon indicating whether and how many versions are available. The values in each column except the "Versions" column can be filtered and sorted.
Digital Twin Manager
Asset types serve as templates for assets and define their structure and user-defined properties. In addition, relationships can be defined that are taken into account when creating hierarchies. A created asset type can be used to generate multiple assets.
Improved page for all devices
Improved data point selector
The window for selecting data points has been divided into three columns: On the left you select a group, in the middle the associated devices are displayed, and on the right you can see your selection, which can also be removed there. A search function has also been integrated.
Extensible device registration
LWM2M 1.1 support
This new function enables microservice developers to create their own enrollment processes for devices - without having to adapt the UI source code.
A user-defined form with a JSON schema and specific endpoints can be created for this purpose. If the microservice is subscribed to the tenant, the form appears automatically as soon as the user selects the corresponding option in the drop-down menu on the device registration page.
We now support the following LWM2M 1.1 features:
- LWM2M Send
- Compound operations (read, write, observe, cancel observation).
- New LWM2M serialization formats: CBOR, SenML JSON, SenML CBOR
- New LWM2M data formats: Core Link, unsigned integers
