Why is this maintenance taking place?
The machines.cloud is technically based on the Cumulocity IoT platform. This will be transferred to a modern managed Kubernetes environment to ensure long-term stability, security and scalability.
For you as a customer this means
- The machines.cloud remains functionally unchanged
- No changes to UI, functions or APIs
- The software version remains the same
- No data changes or data loss
This is exclusively a technical infrastructure modernization in the background.
When is the machines.cloud not available?
Date: December 03, 2025
Planned downtime: approx. 09:30 - 10:30 CET
Duration: about 30 minutes
During this time:
- No login possible
- Devices cannot send data
- APIs are not accessible
- The entire platform is offline
Once the changeover is complete, the machines.cloud is automatically restarted and checked.
Do you need to do anything?
No.
There are no tasks or changes for you. Maintenance is carried out and coordinated entirely by us.
